Round-shaped components
Round-shaped components, in opposite to flat components, are those with a higher complexity level as well as components with angular and reduced surfaces. Large rotation-symmetric components, such as for the steel, cement or chemical industries are also manufactured from wear-resistant EIPA materials and comply with short geometric tolerances.
For wear protection of inside surfaces, the EIPA Rotarc process can be used. That way, pipes for example, are coated with a hardfacing layer on their inside surface. That technique stands for a high degree of process safety and reproducibility.
